Your First VisitYour first visit to Castle Pines Orthodontics will be a chance to get acquainted and to answer your orthodontic questions at no-charge. Our treatment coordinator will inform you about orthodontics and inquire about your specific concerns. Dr. Dunbar's orthodontic examination will allow him to evaluate your orthodontic needs. He will then make a recommendation based on this examination and explain details such as type of treatment, length of treatment and appliances required. If treatment is indicated, diagnostic records including x-rays, photos and digital models will be taken. Our treatment coordinator will thoroughly explain the steps involved in the orthodontic process and discuss cost and payment options. By the end of your first visit, we want you to feel fully informed and completely confident in choosing Castle Pines Orthodontics for your family's orthodontic care. Regular Appointments The appointment at which your appliances (braces, expander, etc.,) are placed usually takes from 30 minutes to 1 1/2 hours. We will then see you at regular 6 week intervals for an adjustment, which takes 20 to 30 minutes. Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients, and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. Keep in mind that it may be difficult to reschedule at your original appointment time since most appointments are made 4-8 weeks in advance, yet we will make every effort to do so. Payment and Office Policies Cost The cost of treatment depends on the severity of the patient's problem, appliances used, and length of treatment. You will be able to discuss fees and payment options before treatment begins. We have plans to suit your needs, including an interest free payment plan. We also accept assignment from most insurance plans. Fees In an effort to keep orthodontic fees reasonable, while maintaining the highest level of professional care, we have established this financial policy:
If you have insurance, we will help you to determine the orthodontic coverage available. We also accept assignment from most insurance plans, and file the necessary papers to the insurance company. Since most orthodontic insurance does not provide 100% coverage, we will arrange a plan for you to pay the balance (see above). |
