Andrew J. Dunbar, DDS, MS, PC Dr. Dunbar's education includes: Southwestern Oklahoma State University - 1987 Bachelor of Science degree, Magna Cum Laude Biology University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry - 1991 Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Naval Medical Center, San Diego - 1992 General Practice Residency University of Louisville School of Dentistry - 2002 Master of Science (MS) - Oral Biology, Certificate in Orthodontics Dr. Andrew J. Dunbar practiced general dentistry and orthodontics in the U.S. Navy and private practice before he became an orthodontist. He served in San Diego, California, Okinawa, Japan, and in Bethesda, Maryland before seeking his Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. Dunbar is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and Metropolitan Denver Dental Society. Dr. Dunbar and his wife, Jennifer reside in Castle Pines North, and they have two daughters, Sierra and Jane. They are active members of Southeast Christian Church. In addition, Dr. Dunbar actively supports the community and schools by donating services to fundraising events and giving presentations to Middle and High Schools on the pursuit of dental and orthodontic careers. Dr. Dunbar employs a high school intern each summer in order for them to experience the business of orthodontics. Dr. Dunbar's hobbies include golf, skiing, family travel and especially watching the Colorado Avalanche rock the NHL!
